As Milan Fashion Week wrapped up on Monday, it was clear that jewelry and accessories took center stage — more so than on the New York and London Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear runways. Here are several of our favorite Milan Fashion Week jewelry trends-in-the-making.

VERSACE. Letters of the Versace logo remixed (“as if by a DJ,” Donatella told Vogue) formed chokers, cuffs and earrings. What better way to punctuate the sharp graphic nature of Versace’s suits and separates? Look for literal letter-print textiles next fall, as well as personalized “letter jewelry.”

MOSCHINO. It was a return to 1989 and the early days of hip-hop music at Moschino, including acid-wash denim patchwork overalls, hoodie sweatshirts, oversized backpacks and multiple fanny-packs. Learn to layer all your chains next fall, both big and small. And center the look with one big pendant necklace.

FAUSTO PUGLISI. Sunburst brooches and embroideries were pinned or sewn on many of Fausto’s Fall 2015 looks, as seen here holding together two parts of a stunning evening dress. Sun signs have long been associated with royalty, so when scouting for a large medallion for fall (see above), head to the sun.

PRADA. “Put a brooch on it,” say the editors of Harper’s Bazaar. The floral pins on almost every Prada look for fall seem rather spring-like, so why not consider buying one now? ”Suddenly a bejeweled and acrylic pastel floral pin doesn’t seem superfluous—it’s a new necessity,” says HB. We agree.

DOLCE & GABBANA. Jeweled hair ornaments or necklaces worn as headbands were seen on many Milan runways, but especially at D&G. Think of new ways to wear your jewelry in your hair, on a hat, or a wide headband. Ciao for now!
