While most women will never walk the red carpet, or hire a stylist, many of us would like to step up our game a bit when it comes to special occasion dressing. This past week we’ve had had plenty of inspiration, including the 2016 British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTAs), and the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
Here are some dazzling awards show statement pieces from the likes of Chopard, Lorraine Schwartz, and Tiffany & Co. We’re showing them with a few accessibly-priced lookalikes to help us real girls get the best red carpet jewelry looks for less.

The 2016 BAFTAs Red Carpet
Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan stunned in a statement necklace of sapphires and Fancy Color Diamonds from the Chopard High Jewellery Collection. You can achieve a similar red carpet look by layering several stands of faux gemstones from Blue Nile, $435, or Ralph Lauren, $49.

Alternate Rhinestone Earrings for Less at Avalaya.com, $45.
Cate Blanchett wore mixed-cut diamond drop earrings from the 2016 Tiffany Blue Book Collection, by Tiffany & Co., while Kate Winslet donned Morning Dew diamond chandeliers by David Morris. We found very similar rhinestone styles online; so can you, for well under $100.

Julianne Moore chose cabochon emerald earrings from the Chopard Red Carpet Collection to complement her gorgeous red hair. Swarovski makes some beautiful green crystal styles, including drops, clusters and shoulder-dusters. From $48, at Swarovski.com.

The 2016 Grammy Awards Red Carpet
Taylor Swift’s two-piece orange and pink Versace number stole the night, and her multi-colored sapphire choker by Lorraine Schwartz added just the right touch of class. We suggest stacking several single-row faux gemstone chokers for the same effect. This one from Avalaya.com is only $15…buy three, four or five!

Live from the Red Carpet co-host Giuliana Rancic zigged when others zagged, forgoing her usual Forevermark diamonds for a head-to-toe Goldfinger look. Her 18K leaf-shaped earrings are “price on request.” Lookalikes from AliExpress start at $38.
