Every year, Tiffany & Co. creates an exclusive collection for its very special clients. The storied Tiffany Blue Book catalog is eagerly anticipated by A-listers and big spenders all around the world. This year’s Blue Book collection, which debuted in mid-April, is the second under the direction of Tiffany creative director Francesca Amfitheatrof. Themed “The Art of Transformation,” the 2016 Tiffany Blue Book collection explores the beauties of nature portrayed in shimmering diamonds and colored gemstones. All we can say is, “Wow.”

The Earth, the Sky and Under the Sea
From a dazzling fern-motif diamond cuff to a diamond bib necklace made to mimic the night sky, the jewels of the Tiffany Blue Book capture nature in all her glory:
- Starfish brooches are studded with diamonds, pink tourmaline and rubellite beads.
- A quirky octopus pin features a Baroque pearl for its head (a playful nod to Tiffany’s animal pins from the 1950s).
- A 22-carat yellow sapphire and diamond pendant shines like the summer sun.

There is something here for every nature (and diamond) lover who can afford the very best. Prices of these one-of-a-kind collector’s pieces are “available upon request.”

A Blue Carpet Gala
Tiffany & Co. celebrated the unveiling of the 2016 Blue Book Collection on April 15 with a Tiffany-blue carpet gala held at the Cunard Building in Lower Manhattan. Hosted by Ms. Amfitheatrof, it was attended by Reese Witherspoon, Naomi Watts, Jessica Biel and Diane Kruger, just to name a few of the lucky luminaries who arrived adorned in Blue Book jewels.
Actress Cate Blanchett couldn’t make the party, but never fear. Cate is a favorite FOT (Friend of Tiffany’s); she had already previewed the diamond bib and starfish cuff at the Costume Designers Guild Awards and the Academy Awards earlier this year!
