Golden Handcuffs. In the world of fine jewelry there are cuffs and there are CUFFS. The wide 18K gold and diamond stunners from the Italian house of Vendorafa are hands-down the most spectacular we’ve seen. Prices on request at Dorfman Jewelers, Boston.

Mismatched Earrings. Last year we celebrated the single earring, but 2015 will be all about the asymmetrical or mismatched pair. Single studs are available at all price points, in glorious colors to mix and match. Or take a page from the Nina Ricci look-book and wear a small earring with a dangling chandelier.

Buy a Brooch. Vogue reports that the brooch is making a big comeback in 2015. The eclectic styles seen at the Spring/Summer collections are nothing like your Grandma’s brooches (although you may wait to raid her jewelry box for vintage jewels). New designs include everything from surrealistic porcelain hands at Céline to red-and-white striped butterflies at Chanel.

2015 Jewelry Trends Tip: Want a head-start for wearing the retro brooch look? Fasten one to your winter woolen beanie or beret. Très chic.
